Monica and Jeff live in a house that is as full of personality as they are. While they have different passions, they are both excited about is their first home, a circa 1920s place with original trim and stained glass windows. Their living room is an eclectic mix of antique furniture, also circa 1920s, inherited from their beloved grandparents and folk art from around the world. What's surprising is that for a modern young couple they actually love the idea of the building on the vintage inspirations of their home. They both enjoy its antiquity, but can't agree on colors. Host Jane Lockhart has to get them to focus on the period colors they love, and then where they go will be much easier to figure out.
The homeowners have been paralyzed by the stained glass windows meshing with their preferred colors and are tired of their white walls. They're a young, modern couple with a love of vintage style and worry that the wrong color choices will spoil this feeling the inherited furniture in their living room has.
