Designer Chayse Dacoda uses earthy tones on the walls as the backdrop for pops of bold edgy color. The large sectional sofa allows Anja and Adam to use the room in different ways and creates two focal points – the TV and the fireplace. To bring in some natural for Anja, they add neutral-toned leaves to the bright blue curtains and design moss-covered vases. The original track lighting, which only highlighted the TV, is rearranged so that there's even lighting throughout the space.
Chayse's Design Tips:
? Use a metal glaze to get the look of copper.
? Even lighting makes for a comfortable room.
? Design in threes: use a bold third color to make a neutral space pop.
