Everyone loves ample closet space, but a wall of closet doors tends to dominate a room. Since the couple rents their home, Kahi designs a decorative panel that can easily be removed. Kahi affixes burlap to a 1/8-inch-thick piece of MDF for a natural-textured backdrop. Inspired by the sconces Anderson is making, Kahi echoes the design on the closet door panels. She lays out her pattern with painter's tape and spray paints the entire surface. Once it's dry, she removes the tape to reveal the reverse pattern on the panel.
