Stitch a button on a pillow to accent a closure, or stitch a row on the end of a pillowcase.
Use small buttons to add interest to drawer pulls. To make them look like they're sewn on, first stitch the holes with thread or wire, then glue onto wooden pulls.

Encircle a frameless mirror with an array of buttons. Apply a small amount of glue to each button and space evenly around the mirror.

Embellish a plain lampshade with silver buttons.

Create colorful napkin rings by sewing a rainbow of colored buttons onto elastic.

Add a touch of the unexpected to flower centers. Thread buttons with wire, push down through the flower centers and wrap the wire around the flower stem.

Dress up an old table with a mosaic-style design. Attach buttons with an adhesive and grout like ordinary tile. Set a precut glass round on top.
