Since most of her walls are covered in rock, this homeowner covered her warped hardwood floors with a layer of concrete. She got river rocks to cover the fireplace. In the kitchen, she had her metal cabinets painted a copper color at an auto body paint shop, and used a sheet of copper flashing for the stove backsplash. Instead of a costly marble slab, she used individual marble tiles to get the same look. In the dining room she filled an entire wall with glass doors to incorporate the outside view.
