A great time for making big changes is when you first move into a new place. Since everything's so fresh and different, it's easy to see the possibilities. That's what Portland, Ore., antiques dealers Darwin Otto and Brent Heeb discovered when they moved to a new home a couple of years ago. Their big change had to do with the guest bedroom — they got rid of it. They now use the room as an all-purpose TV and movie-watching space since their grandchildren are frequent visitors. Sturdy slipcovered furniture is arranged in front of wall-to-wall built-ins that contain their vast pottery collection.
