$64 - Wall Treatment
The walls are painted a light cream color to brighten up the room. The tile wall border is covered up with a wood border painted a darker color than the walls.

Two leather rag rugs are glued and stitched together and stapled to the back of king-size piece of batting-wrapped plywood. Two boards are attached to the plywood to hold the entire piece to the bed frame.

Burke embellishes the homeowners' bed ensemble with covered buttons and a new silk bed skirt. The original bed skirt is fashioned into ruffled pillows.
