Ancil's collection includes an entire wedding party set of cow figurines (figure A), and she is searching for the final piece--the husband cow proposing to the wife cow.

Here are some quick tips on how to start your very own collection:

  • Mary Moo Moo figurines are hard to find, but won't cost you much when you finally locate them! An average price for a Mary Moo Moo birthday figurine (figure B) is $15.

  • Mary Moo Moos that were made in 2000 are limited pieces. There were only 7500 produced and can sell for $70 to $75.

  • If you like your cow collectibles to have a little star quality, look for Elsie the Cow items. Elsie dolls from the 1950s can be worth more than $150, and an Elsie 12-inch barrel-shaped cookie jar from the 1950s can go for more than $300.
