Jennifer and Robert Uteda and their two children live in a ranch-style home complete with horses, dogs and cats. With their open and busy backyard leading straight into their family room, the couple would like to find a design solution that will minimize the tracked-in mess, make the room functional as both the kids' room and a home office, as well as be aesthetically pleasing. Another hurdle the two face is their opposing views on the style of the room. Host and interior designer Michael Payne and interior designer Lisa LaPorta find a kid-friendly solution that features a fun, eclectic design.
