Before: Beth and Kristine tried to achieve a French Country look, but the mango-colored walls and farm animal decorations are sending a mixed message.

After: The kitchen is transformed with worn, antique furniture, layers of stripe, toile and paisley fabrics, and a color palette of blues, greens and yellows.
Beth and Kristine attempted to design a French Country kitchen in their cottage home but things didn't go as planned. With the help of designer Valerie Bickford, contractor Steve Pitzer, design coordinator Jennifer Julian, they rid the room of roosters and find the true meaning of French country design.
