Our team is able re-create the pillows for about $20 each. To imitate the embroidered botanical patterns, Michelle and the homeowner hand paint leaves and bamboo on ivory-colored cotton fabric. The fabric is sewn up with green piping detail to complete the look. Near-perfect matches to the herringbone pillows are found at a bed and bath superstore. The brown rectangle pillow is made with leftover fabric from the other pillow projects in the room.
