Homeowner Jenny Coughlin wanted to give her contemporary condo more character and found cost-effective ways to do it.
- To give her kitchen more character, she traded the oak finish of the stock cabinets for a crisp white enamel finish. She replaced the cabinet doors under the sink with a black and white curtain for softness. In lieu of tile, she used wallpaper to create her black and white checkered backsplash behind the stove.
