Huntington Beach homeowners David and Debby Miller want a gourmet kitchen and great room that opens up into the backyard. Their home is a reflection of their travels, primarily in Asia, and they would like to continue the Asian influence into this grand space. They're looking for a designer who will blend a contemporary flair with their casual lifestyle.

Debby and David Miller live with their two children in Huntington Beach, Calif., which is internationally known as Surf City, USA. Their two-story, 3,200-square-foot California-style home is a reflection of their travels, primarily in Asia. They want to spread that influence through their kitchen and family rooms, and have saved up $100,000 to build a custom great room.
