The grand fireplace is beautiful once more. Vern was able to find vintage tiles that match almost perfectly with the original. The rotten column is rebuilt and the entire mantel is repainted. A brand new sofa, Ming chairs and rich tables form a cozy seating area. A modern lamp is placed on the side table to keep the Indonesian theme from being to overpowering. For the coffee table, Vern creates a unique Asian centerpiece by planting orchids inside an antique mortar that was once used to grind rice.
