Simple curtain panels are sewn from bed sheets and then customized with a corduroy cuff on the bottom. For a fun retro touch, two stripes are run from the curtains onto the walls. A teal strip of fabric is ironed onto the curtains, and then a continuing teal angular stripe is painted onto the walls.

A pair of wicker stools is given a slight contemporary look with a coat of cream-colored spray paint.
