Coffee Mug Candles

Materials and Tools:

wax
wick
aluminum wick holder
coffee mug
pencil
white crayon

Steps:

1. Insert wick end into square aluminum wick holder. Tie length of wick to a pencil. Place wick holder inside coffee mug and suspend wick string by placing the pencil across the rim of the mug.

2. Pour melted wax into the mug and allow to harden and cool.

3. Grate white crayon into a bowl. Mix a spoonful of melted candle wax in the bowl of crayon shavings and stir until the mixture looks "frothy." Finish the candle by spooning the "froth" on top of the hardened candle wax in the mug.
