Hide CaptionShow CaptionThis one-of-a-kind chandelier brightens up a dark corner in Sean's living room.
Karen makes a light fixture out of picture frames and shelf paper. She bought unfinished square frames at a craft store in three sizes: 20, 18 and 14 inches. Then she cuts translucent plastic shelf liner that has a crystal look into two-inch-wide strips and staples them along the edges of the frames. She hangs one frame from another in three tiers using dental floss, which is super strong and easier to work with than fishing line. The cascading fixture is attached to a light fixture and hung from the ceiling for added lighting in a dark corner.
