Classic Contemporary Living Room

Homeowner Jay McDougall says the 1927 house he bought five years ago was move-in ready. It was well maintained and he thought it was tastefully decorated. Then, he met his girlfriend Megan. She has a different opinion, especially when it comes to the living room decor. She finds the colors atrocious and the clutter annoying. The room isn’t very conducive for date night and it doesn’t have enough seating for a gathering of more than three. The couple does agree on one thing — they’d like the room decorated in a style that compliments the vintage character of the home.
