Chicago-Style Family Room

After living in downtown Chicago for several years, Gary and Kathy Lazar decided to raise their family in the nearby suburbs, just north of America's original Second City. Now with three children, the Lazars love the culture and variety the city has to offer, as well as the family-friendly atmosphere of their suburban Deerfield neighborhood. They've found the perfect home to raise their children in, but could use a little help with their family room — parts of which are still stuck in the 1970s. They are ready for an update that reflects their taste and style, and is a comfortable haven the family can enjoy for years to come.
