Design expert Natalie Daise takes chairs to a whole new level by painting them in vivid colors and whimsical patterns. It's easy to do — look for old chairs at garage sales or flea markets, grab some acrylic paints then create your own colorful masterpiece. And don't limit yourself with a brush — use your fingers to make polka dots, a cup to make big circles or stamps to create a themed look. When finished and all the paint is dry, seal your chair with polyurethane so you can enjoy it both indoors and out.
