After: Citrus walls and a steel ceiling transform the kitchen into an inspired oasis. Cobalt blue countertops are the perfect contrast to the lime green cabinets.
Justin and Lauren Halterlein love the Caribbean, where they got engaged and honeymooned. When they bought their first house, they tried to re-create the Caribbean look in their kitchen. Unfortunately, it ended up looking more like an aquarium than a tropical paradise! With the help of a $2,000 budget, designer Valerie Bickford, contractor Steve Pitzer and design coordinator Jennifer Julian use their expertise to give the couple the fun Caribbean kitchen they had envisioned.
