Bold Colors in a Contemporary Space

Designer Dollie Chapman's clients wanted a bold, colorful look in their modern loft and she met their request with a bright red sofa and side chairs covered in a mosaic-patternedfabric. For an industrial side table, she stacked two tire rims and finished it with a glass top. The black carpet is an exciting contrast to the red sofa. Chapman incorporated the homeowner's collection of record album covers and used them as artwork on small wooden shelves staggered on the wall.
