Bland to Beautiful Living Room

The couple now has a cohesive style that is all their own. Sophisticated-casual style incorporates a high-end look without ignoring the comfort factor. The lighter shade of paint is applied to the ceiling and the upper third of the wall to give the illusion of more space. By removing the large sofas and replacing them with scaled-down pieces, the room looks less like a furniture warehouse and more like an inviting space with good flow. A new TV storage unit is built at a low height to make the room less about the TV and more about the other furnishings. To make the space more personal, Indira’s photographs are enlarged and framed then hung above the TV along with some metal sconces.
