Bland Dining Room Enhanced With Bright Color and Large Furniture

To re-create the original sun-and-moon-themed plates, Michelle and the homeowner went to a ceramic painting studio to make their own. The designs were first penciled onto the plates and then painted in a rich ochre color. A coat of clear glaze was applied on top, and a trip to the kiln sealed the design.
