Before and After: South Minneapolis Living Room Redesign

Redesigners Leslie Teddy and Katie Bassett make a beautiful south Minneapolis living room much more livable just by rearranging the furniture.

After

They use the homeowners' leftover brown paint from the living room trim and some glaze to give the fireplace a much warmer look.
They place the area rug on an angle to facilitate a more interesting furniture arrangement.

Before

Upstairs in the master suite they find the perfect window treatments to switch out with the white curtains from the living room.

The art grouping over the fireplace is placed elsewhere in the room, and a larger painting is set in its place creating a much more impactful focal point.
