Hide CaptionShow CaptionThis modern-style shelving is toned down with glaze technique to make it appear more traditional.
The homeowners don't like the brick corner that used to house a wood-burning fireplace. Bromstad takes this part of the room and transforms it into something that looks like it's supposed to be there. Rounded shelving follows the arc of the brickwork. Although the line is modern, a paint glaze technique gives it a more earthy, traditional feel.
