Karen rid the room of a lot of metal furnishings and brought in more wood pieces. In observance of feng shui principles, she put the bed on the wall that faces the windows to create a calming effect. The cool color palette (blue, gray, silver) is also balanced by warm, natural accents (beige, wood, tree silhouettes). The effect is soothing Zen and contemporary fun all at once.
