Asian-Inspired Living Room

Design coordinator Summer Baltzer covers a plain knotty pine table with a textured roller shade and some trim. She stains it to match the other pieces in the room and to give it a richer, darker color to contrast the wall color. A tip for mixing stain: keep track of which stains and how much you have mixed. It will help when trying to reproduce it later for other projects. A couple of new chairs and a bench complete the updated import fusion style that distinguishes the dining area.
