Asian-Inspired Living Room

While Sarah Auspitz's stylistic compass points east, her apartment hasn't found its design direction yet. She is looking for an Asian-inspired design to spice up her unappealing living space. Designer Lee Snijders and the Design on a Dime team bring in jewel tone colors and characteristic details to create an Asian-inspired design.

The only hint of color in the room is a chair with an Eastern flair. Sarah loves the colorful pillows and exotic fabrics and would like to see that carried throughout the entire space. Also, the dining room feels like more of an extension of the kitchen, and she'd like help defining the dining area as its own space while merging it with the living room's style.
