Hide CaptionShow CaptionEdwards gives an Asian twist to three prebuilt bookcases by adding custom doors.
She paints the trim dark brown and then cuts matchstick shades to fit into the face of the doors, which she attaches with hot glue. Then she adds decorative handles. The new bookcases provide additional storage for all of Young's books and paperwork, and the doors hide the clutter. The three storage units of different heights stair-step down in Asian fashion. Above the shortest storage unit, Cooper hangs a cabinet that opens to reveal an executive dry erase marker board, markers and bulletin board.
