Art Deco Bedroom

Newlyweds and new homeowners, Cliff and Diane Numark, are looking to create a more sophisticated and romantic look in their bedroom. Their room is currently full of mish-mashed furnishings reminiscent of Diane's bachelorette days.

The Dilemma

Lee Snijders visits the couple to find out what needs to be changed. Aside from the need for more storage, the white walls need toning down, the window blinds need sprucing up and the floral bedding needs a bit more of a masculine touch. Snijders discusses the issues with his design team, Summer Baltzer and Charles Burbridge, and then the three decide to create a cosmopolitan look through art deco-influenced furnishings and fabrics.
