A half wall in the bedroom was borne of necessity--a pipe from the downstairs wood stove needed to be boxed in to create a separation for the hallway and bed. After living in Boston, Cape Cod and San Francisco, Bill and Susan Bresee chose a Vermont lifestyle to raise their family. They built their dream house on a wooded lot near Stowe, with spectacular views of Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak.
The dressing area has separate sink and vanity areas. The sinks are off-centered to maximize counter space. Tumbled marble flooring gives the room a rustic look.A half wall in the bedroom was borne of necessity — a pipe from the downstairs wood stove needed to be boxed in to create a separation for the hallway and bed.
