Host Joan Kohn visits the renovated 18th-century Georgian home of Lauren and Tim Miner. Their challenge in designing the master suite was to set the right tone of authenticity without creating a museum-like atmosphere. They succeeded in blending modern comforts with a beautiful period look.

  • The biggest structural challenge of the renovation was the original low ceilings in the second-story space. This was overcome by raising the roof.
