This large, open design has a number of interesting details. Under the arching scented branches of an apple tree, pink double hyacinths, tulips and double red tulips push their way through small mounds of moss that recreate a grass lawn (image 1).

Effect
Using terra-cotta pots and natural wood with bulbs and blossom conveys a sense of the garden coming to life in spring as gardeners dust off their tools in the potting shed (image 2).

Color
Although yellow is the color most often associated with spring, we've chosen pink-bearing bulbs to complement the tall branches of apple blossom at the back of the design (image 3).
