This Wonder Woman costume even comes with the crown.
John Azarian collects costumes and props from his favorite 1960s and '70s TV shows. Not only does he have superhero costumes, but he also has jewelry worn by Elisabeth Montgomery in Bewitched and Dr. Smith's shirt from Lost in Space, among others.

In all he calculates 2,500 pieces in his collection. He didn't start collecting pieces of TV history until about 10 years ago, but his fascination started long ago.

Here are some quick tips on how to start your own collection:

  • Original scripts from TV shows are a great find. Expect to pay between $100 and $300 for an I Love Lucy script, while an original Star Trek script is worth up to $500.

  • Show costumes are expensive but can often be found at auctions. A Lost in Space costume will cost about $10,000, while a Star Trek tunic from Capt. Kirk, Spock or Scotty will set you back about $50,000!
