Sunflower Wall HangingAll About
Materials and Tools:
1/4" hardwood pressboard panel approx. 36" square
latex paints, brown, light yellow, medium yellow, dark yellow
brown stained glass sheet cut to approx. 4" x 10"
picture hanger
glass glue
glasscutter
jigsaw
foam brushes
power drill
pencil, ruler
safety glasses and ear protection
sawhorses
clamps
paper towel
nails and hammer

2. Wearing safety glasses and ear protection clamp the wood to two sawhorses and drill pilot holes around the flower center.
3. Cut out the center of the sunflower with a jigsaw, insert the saw blade into the previously drilled holes.
4. Cut out the sunflower petal shapes.
6. Highlight the petal details using light yellow, medium yellow and dark yellow latex paints. Let dry.
7. Cut a rectangle of brown glass large enough to cover the center hole using a glasscutter and ruler to score the glass. Break the glass along the edge of a tabletop.
8. Glue the glass to the back of the sunflower using glass glue. Remove excess glue with a paper towel. Let dry.
