Showcasing Themed Vacation Memorabilia

Designer Dawn James creates two pages that showcase Disney memorabilia, but can be adapted to feature any themed vacation mementos.

Disney Pocket Page

Materials and Tools:

pocket page
Disney Combo Pack
tape runner
black paper
Square Maker

Steps:

1. Arrange stickers from combo pack as follows: add Disney die-cut to bottom of pocket page, use Mickey Mouse ears on center.

2. Next, use Square Maker to create three 1-1/2 red squares from the left-over paper surrounding the Disney die-cut.

3. Use Square Maker to cut two 1-1/4" squares from a piece of black paper. Decorate squares with stickers from Combo Pack and add to top of page.

Winnie the Pooh Background Page

Materials and Tools:

natural 12" x 12" page
Pooh Combo Pack
tape runner
gold, cranberry, periwinkle, lemon, raspberry paper
Square Maker
12" Custom Cutting System Tool with mat and blades (12" wave pattern "swell border")
black pen

Steps:

1. Use Square Maker to cut frames from gold, raspberry and periwinkle paper.

2. Use 12" cutting system and red blade to cut a "swell" border from the lemon paper.

3. Adhere the "swell" border to the page, then frames and solid blocks left over from making frames.

4. Decorate squares with stickers from the combo pack.

5. Use the black pen to embellish.
