Simply Quilts visits the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City to highlight its Quilts Across America program, which uses quilting to help schoolchildren express their views of the world around them.

Schoolchildren from across the United States create quilt blocks representing a given theme. The blocks are then sent to the program coordinator, where they are sewn into quilts to be displayed at the museum.
