Mock Needlepoint Scrapbook Pages

Materials:

black background paper
gold pen
plastic mesh canvas
scrap paper to plan pattern
permanent ink pen

Steps:

1. Practice your pattern on a piece of scrap paper to be sure of spacing and design.

2. Then lay mesh over the pattern and trace onto the mesh with a permanent ink pen (figure A).

3. Lay mesh over background paper and align with edges of page or photo.

4. Fill in appropriate spaces with gold pen to create your desired pattern (figure B).
