Mini Scrapbook Solution

There's no rule governing the size of scrapbooks. This mini scrapbook actually has a large capacity to display loads of pictures in minimal space.
Guest Mary Dramise reveals an idea for making a mini scrapbook on foam board to compactly hold multiple photos in limited space.

Materials:

12" x 12" foam board
12" x 12" pattern paper
mini scrapbook template
inside pages
chipboard
double-sided tape
cards tock
craft knife

Steps:

  1. Cut cardstock to the size of the foam board.

  2. Place two-sided tape around the edges of the foam board, and then adhere to the pattern paper.

  3. Cut out an opening of the foam board with a craft knife. The opening should be the size as the mini scrapbook.

  4. Tape down the paper to the back of the cut out area.

  • Trace out the mini scrapbook from the template (figure A) on cardstock, and then cut out.

  • Score the cardstock from notch to notch around the perimeter.

  • Place two-sided tape on the edge of the chip board and adhere to the mini scrapbook within the score marks.

  • Adhere the scored edges to the scrapbook.

  • Cut a piece of ribbon and adhere to the inside cover of the scrapbook (figure B).

  • Fold the inside pages in half, and then adhere together.

  • Place two-sided tape on the inside of the first page and adhere to the inside of the cover.

  • Repeat on the last page bringing the cover to the page to adhere.
