Steps:

1. Measure around neck and cut velvet ribbon to that size.

2. Lay ribbon on flat surface. Cut beaded fringe to same length.

3. Glue skirt of fringe to bottom edge of ribbon, positioning so beads are hanging freely and all of skirt is covered by ribbon. Allow to dry.

4. Cinch clamps on each raw edge, being sure to catch both ribbon and skirt.

5. Attach chain to loop on clamps with jump rings.

6. Add clasp to chain on one side for closure.

Matching Beaded Fringe Dangling Earrings

Materials and Tools:

2 pieces beaded fringe (3 dangles each — 2 long, 1 short)
2 cap beads
1 pair wire earring loops
2 jump rings
various beads
scissors
needle-nose pliers

Steps:

1. Carefully cut 3 dangles of fringe from skirt (2 long, 1 short, or as you wish) leaving a small bit of fabric attached.

2. Cut off half the width of the twill skirt.

3. Roll up tightly, gluing as you go. Allow to dry.

4. Slip cap bead over top of fabric tape and tighten.

5. Add jump ring to top. Slip onto earring wires.
