Steps:1. Put metallic ink onto compressed sponge in desired pattern (figure A) and stamp onto the bottom edge of first envelope (figure B). Allow 5 to 10 minutes to dry.
2. Ink edge of compressed sponge with desired colors of dye-based Inkabilities and pull sponge across the bottom portion of the envelope, over the "stamped" metallic pattern (figure C). Dab off extra ink with paper towel or scratch paper. Repeat on desired number of envelopes.
3. Color a solid duet stamp using brush art markers (figure D) and stamp onto paper (figure E).
4. Using the coordinating outline stamp image, ink stamp with embossing ink, and stamp onto paper. Sprinkle with embossing powder and set with heat tool.
5. Xyron image (or you can glue image after it is cut) and trim, leaving tiny edges. Repeat for all desired images.
6. Peel backing from images and place where desired on envelopes.
7. Using a black calligraphy pen, write desired words onto the envelopes (figure F).
8. Cut out desired letters using the Sizzix machine and alphabet dies (or you can use a template and scissors) (figure G).
9. Glue letters in place on cover. Put desired stamped images in place.
10. Wrap gold elastic cord around finished envelope book and tie with a bow (figure H).
11. Alternative: To bind envelopes together using a Roll-a-bind: Set paper guide setting to desired number of holes. Each setting has a click stop to allow holes to align equal distance along the edge.
12. Firmly insert envelope under punch heads and against paper guide (very important to make sure envelopes are inserted all the way against paper guide).
13. Depress handle to punch paper cleanly, then release (figure I). Repeat for remaining envelopes.
14. Attach the envelopes together by placing a disk in the slots made by the Roll-a-bind punch (figure J). You can remove and reinsert envelope "pages" as many times as needed.
