Materials:

12" x 12" scrapbook page (cream)
designer metal sheet thin gold
designer metal sheet gold mesh
scissors
Fiskars ShapeBossCE with stylus
ShapeBossCE embossing stencil set (oval elegant)
3/4 yd. gold metallic and white rope trim
archival quality white glue
heavy-weight double-sided adhesive tape
1 wheet white printed vellum
deckle-edged scissors
vellum wedding stickers
photo of your choice
cream acrylic paint
soft cloth

Embossed metal page.

Remove thin gold metal sheet from package and unroll.
Caution: Metal edges may be sharp. Use caution when handling. Children should have adult supervision.
Use scissors to cut a rectangle 6-1/2" x 5", a strip 12" x 4-1/2" long, and a smaller rectangle 4" x 2-1/2".

Use the featured technique to embellish and personalize album covers.

Remove stencil from package. Line up top and bottom pieces. Position onto ShapeBoss and secure with pegs where desired to hold in place. Slide metal rectangle between the top and bottom stencils positioning to the oval design.

Note: Keep in mind that you will be embossing on the back of the metal. The final design will be seen from the front.

Using the largest end of the stylus, begin burnishing the metal by applying consistent downward pressure while outlining the stencil design. You can choose to emboss just the edges of the design or the entire opening. Remove the embossed oval from the stencil.

Use scissors to trim away the excess from the outside embossed area and the inside of the oval where the photo will be placed. Set aside.

Slide long metal strip between the stencils. Emboss a border at the top and bottom of the strip and midway down both sides. If desired you can emboss words by using an Alphabet Embossing Stencil Set or by printing the words on your computer and printing them out. Remember to flip them over before embossing so they will appear backward while embossing but read correctly when flipped over. Remove strip from stencils.

Slide smaller rectangle between the stencils. Emboss a small border all the way around. Trim edges with deckle edge scissors.

Dip soft cloth into acrylic paint. Rub gently onto front of the embossed pieces and use clean area of the cloth to remove excess paint. This will slightly antique the embossed pieces and highlight the embossed areas.

Print out journaling and the name of the couple on white computer paper. Cut out with deckle edged scissors. Use two-sided tape to adhere to printed white vellum. Use deckle edged scissors to cut out a 1/4" border all around the journaling and the names. Adhere the journaling to the center of the long metal embossed strip. Adhere the names to the smaller embossed rectangle.

Cut the gold mesh strip into a long strip 1-1/2" x 12". Adhere underneath the right-hand side of the embossed long metal strip. Adhere these attached pieces to the cream scrapbook page.

Glue rope trim on each side of the gold mesh strip.

Center and tape the photo into the center of the embossed oval. Adhere to the cream page toward the top of the remaining area of the cream page.

Apply wedding stickers above the oval framed photo.

Adhere the name plate underneath the framed photo.
