Embossed Copper Tag Accents

A closer look at the embossed sunflower.

Materials:

light brown, tan and dark brown cardstock
2 paper tags (one larger than the other)
background paper of choice
copper ScrapMetal
sunflower design stamp
stickers
blue button
hammer
wooden stylus
string or fiber

When working with metallic foil, a wooden embossing stylus provides better results than a regular stylus.

Steps:

1. To create the sunflower tag, first stamp the back surface of the ScrapMetal using the sunflower stamp.

2. After stamping, emboss the pattern using a wooden stylus.

3. Next, create a textured tag by using a tag as a template. Trace around paper tag onto ScrapMetal. Cut metal tag from ScrapMetal sheet.

4. Once tag is cut, flip over so that back surface is exposed. Use hammer to randomly texturize the tag.
