Coloring Watermark Images

Color your scrapbook images with a Watermark inkpad and chalks.

Color a page using chalks on Watermark images.
Apply a fun coloring technique to your page using the VersaMark Watermark ink pad and chalks.

Materials:

VersaMark Watermark inkpad
flower stamps
chalks
cotton swab

Steps:

  1. Stamp the flowers onto the Watermark pad and then onto the page.

  • Let the images dry so the chalk will adhere evenly.

  • Take a cotton swab and rub it in the colored chalk, and then swirl it on the image (figure A).

  • To create a colored edge on your page, mask the page so just a little is showing. Then, ink the edge with a Watermark pad and let dry.

  • Chalk the edge with coordinating colors (figure B).

  • Smudge the colors with a cotton swab.

  • Add stamped dots to create a finished look to your page.
