Just as extreme sports require great skill on the part of the participant, so does scrapbooking extreme pages. Designer Leslie Frederick shares supplies and "moves" to add to your croppin' skills.
Grind
Materials:
scissors or craft knife
cutting board or work surface
Extreme sport cut-apart page*
paper trimmer
asphalt print paper
foam squares
small brads
adhesive
*Locate sports-themed pages/stickers at local scrapbooking stores.
Steps:
- Using scissors or a craft knife and cutting surface, cut out the following elements from the Extreme sport cut-apart page: knee pads, bars, helmet and the word "Grind".
- Next, use paper trimmer to cut squares and rectangles for photo mats from asphalt paper. Mount the asphalt squares and rectangles to background page.
