Alex Anderson had this advice for adding more quilting after the quilt has been bound:

  • If you feel your quilt needs it and you want to add more quilting after binding, go for it! Just make sure the new quilting is equally distributed across the quilt top.
  • To avoid this situation in the future, always follow the recommended stitches per inch on your batting package.
