A small envelope contains "hidden notes" to be read later.
Guest Stacy Julian reveals her technique for creating an anniversary gift album to honor a special couple.

  1. Select a color scheme, then purchase cardstock and patterned papers in those colors. Select a theme or design motif that will be meaningful to the recipients, then purchase rubber stamps and inks to support both the colors and theme.

  2. Cut all paper in to 6" x 6" pieces (Stacy used a 6" x 6" album with page protectors for her album).

  3. Contact friends and relatives and request that they write notes to the couple to be opened on future anniversaries.

  4. Obtain a photo of the couple for the title page.

  5. Collect several quotes and print on 6" x 6" vellum.

  6. Plan and create the following pages: Title, Hidden Notes, Yearly Anniversary pages, Quotes.

  7. Assemble album, inserting notes from friends and relatives sealed into large vellum envelopes with sealing wax.
