Ancient Glass Love Shrine

Step 1

Steps:

1. Sand a heart-shaped glass bottle all over until it appears milky.

Step 2

2. Lay the bottle in a towel and lightly hit it with a hammer to break it.

Step 3

3. Fish out the pieces of glass and begin to reassemble the bottle using two-part epoxy glue. There will be some pieces missing which adds to the charm of the ancient glass love shrine.

Step 5

4. Once glued, apply iron paint to the inside and outside of the glass. Let dry.

5. Add patina solution over the iron paint. Allow the ancient glass love shrine to age.

Step 6

6. Slide a pearl onto a piece of copper wire and wrap the wire around the neck of the bottle. Twist the ends to hold them together and press them against the ancient glass love shrine.
