After all the squares have been finished, they must be blocked and then sewn together.
- Use a tapestry needle threaded with yarn to darn in all yarn ends.
- Wash and block each square to 12"x12".
- When squares are dry, join them top to bottom first, using mattress stitch or slipstitch crochet. Be careful not to pull joining thread too tightly.
- Join strips of squares at sides by weaving garter-stitch edges "bump to bump." Again, be careful not to pull joining thread too tightly.
